Private pilot ground rules

Privacy Ground Rules

Collect only what the order needs

Accounts and orders may use a name, verified email, phone or WhatsApp number, delivery address, customization choices, messages and order/payment status. Do not ask for unrelated personal information.

Who can see order information

The buyer can see their own order. The responsible Seller/Parent can see the customer details needed to fulfil that order. Platform Admin can access marketplace records and conversations to operate the pilot and intervene when needed.

Keep customer details away from Makers

A Maker has no separate login and must not receive customer names, phone numbers, addresses, private messages, payment details or delivery arrangements.

Use information only for the order

Use customer details only to prepare, deliver, communicate about and resolve the relevant order. Do not add buyers to marketing lists, share their details, or contact them for unrelated reasons.

Protect local copies

Avoid copying customer details into personal notes, family devices or unrelated chat groups. If a temporary copy is genuinely needed for delivery, keep it secure and remove it when it is no longer needed.

Public Maker information

A parent controls each Maker profile. Do not publish a home address, school, regular routine, private contact information or anything else that could create a child-safety risk.

Product reviews

A signed-in buyer may review a product after a delivered purchase. Reviews are checked before publication. Only the buyer's first-name display label, rating, approved comment, optional suggestion and review date can appear publicly; account, contact, address and order identifiers stay private.

Correct mistakes

Buyers and sellers should keep account and order information accurate. Contact Platform Admin if personal information was exposed to the wrong person or if a record needs help to be corrected or removed.
